We have been doing it wrong all this time!

I was flipping through a magazine while eating breakfast when I came across this ad. The ad states "For years, the Japanese have applied pressure on different fingers to target weight loss in specific problem areas. Now this adjustable, acupressure ring lets you do the same! Specify goldtone or silvertone. One size fits all."

So, for ONLY $3.99 you could target problem areas all by wearing this ring!!! Wow! It even says"Target Tummy, Hips, OR Buttocks!" I guess the ring chooses the users "problem area". How ridiculous! I hope none of you guys have purchased this!

Lets face it people... eating healthy and exercising is the trick to weight loss. But the ad was good for a laugh!

Help! I'm addicted to Ebay!

Alright... I'M ADDICTED TO EBAY!

Please don't tell Adam! :) I bought some Vera Bradley bags this week and a Vera Bradley lunchbox! A lunchbox, people!!! Hey, I take my lunch to work everyday...so I HAVE to have a cute lunchbox, right? I don't think Adam would buy that...

So, I bought the lunchbox and had to have the matching tote bag....and the matching wallet to go with that.... this is how addictions start!

My new little addictions...

What a week!

Whew... this has been a rough week! Two tests back to back, along with the duties of being a wife, and employee! I'm still adjusting! Especially, to being a student again! Ugh... why did I want to go back again?! :) It WILL be worth it in the end!

Also, a friend of mine from Curves lost her son in a tragic car accident on Thursday night. James was 27 years old. It blows my mind how a person can be so alive one minute and gone forever the next. I can't imagine the pain his family is dealing with especially his wife. How devastating. Keep the Walworth family in your thoughts and prayers.

Shortly after learning of James' passing, I learned of a former Curves member's death. She was also killed in a car accident. Please keep the Pfingsten family in your thoughts and prayers.
Family and friends, PLEASE be safe when driving! Always wear your selt belt! No texting while driving! We've all heard it a hundred times and we're all guilty of texting, not wearing our seat belts, and/or speeding. Please be safe!

On a lighter note... Who is everyone pulling for in the Superbowl?! I'm not a huge fan of NFL football, but I'm pulling for the underdog! So, Saints it is! Sorry Peyton!

Hello from Alabama!

I, Kristen, have decided to start a blog letting everyone know how we're doing in Alabama! I've been here a little over a month and so much has happened! New job, starting school, being a wife!

The wedding was beautiful! It always amazes me how everything just falls into place! It was stressful to plan a wedding in AL when I was in TN, but everything went off without a hitch! It was so good to see friends and family who made the trip to Rainsville, AL! Thank you all for sharing our special day!

Our honeymoon was in Mentone, AL. A beautiful, quaint little town. We stayed in a beautiful cabin! I would LOVE to have a house like this! After all the stress involved with the wedding, it was SO nice to be able to relax for a few days! We caught up on some much needed sleep, watched movies, and went to DeSoto Falls! DeSoto Falls is definitely a must see! These pictures don't do it justice!

I have also started a new job! I work part-time in the Admissions Office/Student Services at Northeast Alabama Community College. I love it! I definitely have a new respect for those sitting behind the desk!

I'm also taking Anatomy and Physiology 1 and Microbiology at Northeast. I apply for nursing school in June! Wish me luck!

Adam's Mom, Tonie, and I have been working out together. We do lots of cardio (treadmill, elliptical, biking) and weight lifting. She is one tough women! She's an excellent motivator! Adam and I have decided to start P90X. We ordered it today and we're both pretty excited to get started! P90X is a at home workout program that is "the real deal"! Hopefully, in 90 days you wont be able to recognize me or Adam!

Well, its almost time for the Grammy's! Catch ya next time!
